Allan Gotlieb had a distinguished career in the Foreign Service and is currently a consultant at the law firm Stikeman Elliot. He was educated at Harvard Law School, was a Vinerian Law Scholar at Oxford University and is a barrister at Inner Temple. He wrote a memoir of his time as Canada's ambassador to Washington from 1981 to 1989, I'LL BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE, MR AMBASSADOR.
